Da Bulls and Championship Teams
ESPN just put out an article ranking the top 10 NBA finalist teams of all time. Little surprise to this Bulls fan that 4 of those top 10 teams were the Bulls of '96 (No. 1), '91 (No. 4), '97 (No. 5), and '92 (No. 7). The only other team with more than one in the top 10 was the Lakers ('87 & '85). In the past I have plenty of debates with fans of other teams (Lakers, Pistons, etc) trying to argue that their teams are the best dynasties of the NBA era, but there is just to much proof out there that the Bulls have been the class of the NBA as far as Dynasties go. And for my Piston's readers the '89 team made it at number 10. The great thing for me, is that each of these championship teams listed occurred when I was old enough to remember and now with a young/talented team that every year makes a little bigger run through the playoffs, its only a matter of time before we are hoisting the championship trophy again Chi-town.Now on the Kobe front. If you have been listening to and puttin any stock into the rumors, it appears that Kobe Bryant has grown tired of LA and wants to be traded to the Bulls. The prevailing thought is that with the East having a weaker line-up of teams he will have a better chance at winning more championships. And since the Bulls haven't built their current team around superstar talent, he can come in and be "the man" which would play to his ego. Throw in the fact that he has always wanted to be the next Jordan and for him its a match made in heaven. As a Bulls fan, I dread the day that this prima-donna dons a Bulls jersey. I like the tough as nails "d" and team attitude that this current Bulls team has developed and bringing in a circus act like Kobe could destroy that. Not to mention that you would have to give up several of our solid players to get him, puting us back a few steps. I feel the last thing this team needs is a distraction like Kobe. Fill some holes with the draft and make another run this year Bulls. You are young enough to take the time to build up and avoid trading away the future for this guy.

i agree with you there... besides i have always disliked kobe because of his cocky attitude and his shady personal life...
on the other hand, a lot of people love him, and he would put butts in the seats. eh... hopefully he stays away. time will tell!
Yeah, well as long as the Bulls keep winning they should be able to keep butts in the seats, but like you said, if they keep winning but never make a championship, maybe the fans would stop coming? Like you said, we will see.
I'm not sure how he would fit in Chicago ... for the same reason that Detroit didn't draft Dwayne Wade or Carmelo Anthony a few years back ... that type of player didn't fit the team mold. I think the same would go for Kobe and Chicago. Plus, as a Pistons fan, I really don't want to see him in Chicago!
