End of the Run?
Well, tonight could arguably be the biggest game in Big Ten play for the undefeated Illini this year. They head into the Michigan State Breslin Center to take on the Spartans. The Illini have not won a game in this building since 1997, making it one of the toughest places they will have played in all year. The MSU Spartans are currently the #12 team in the nation and will be hungry to be the team that ended the Illini's run at a perfect season. It should be a great game and I will admit I am slightly nervous about the outcome. The Spartans match up well against Illinois and are always a well coached team. The Illini will have to come ready to play at every position including the bench if they want to keep their streak alive. Being the loyal fan that I am, I believe they Illini will break their losing streak in the Breslin Center and remain undefeated, but it won't be easy and the outcome won't be known until the last seconds. My prediction is the Illini by 3 in a nail biter.Go Illini!!!!
